Friendly, clean, bed soooo comfortable! A lot of beds in Thailand I find are too firm. Room gets made promptly each day. Complimentary water, juice, teas, coffee, ovaltine and small snacks. Great location for a more authentic stay. At a few places the staff help you to learn their language. Some really good local restaurants to explore. Coffee Waf has the BEST coffee and iced drinks less than 5 min walk. If Apple has baked banana cakes you’re in for a tasty treat. Walk to Old Town is only about a 12 min stroll. It’s nice to walk back to this area as it’s more peaceful than Old Town but still has a lot to offer. We got a Bolt (like Uber) from the Jing Jai market as the afternoon was quite hot. Cost 85baht. So cheap! Would’ve been around a 40min walk otherwise. Pool area great. There’s an undercover area with fans to chill or 8 sun lounges out in the sun. Towels provided. Shade would typically cover that area by 3.30pm. Special mention to staff Mimi - what a nugget of gold she is. Made us feel very welcome and willing to assist in any way. All staff were smiley and pleasant and made our stay very comfortable. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

Its proximity to Old Chiang Mai City, the International Airport and most other tourist spots. The facilities are well-maintained and clean. There is a small pool but we didn’t use that. Eating area is a cosy setting. The staff were responsive, polite and helpful. Customer service was prompt in responding to my request through booking.com to change a double bed selection to a twin bed one. During our stay, the reception staff were helpful when asked for suggestions to good eating spots/ shopping centres. Breakfast was standard daily consisting of 2 eggs (choice of poached or omelet), some salad, chicken sausages, bread slices and watermelon slices together with a small portion of local dish of stir fried noodles and dessert. There was free flow of coffee and bottled plain water (beyond the standard 2 bottles/room daily) which meant we did not have to purchase extra bottles of drinking water from outside. The refrigerator was always stocked up. Really appreciative of that. A quiet neighbourhood, so we were able to sleep soundly.

Our stay at Asa Hotel was exceptional! The spotless rooms and modern amenities made us feel right at home. Special mention to Mimi from the reception team, whose warm hospitality and attention to detail truly elevated our experience—she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The central location was perfect for exploring the city, with major attractions nearby. We also loved the 24/7 complimentary snack bar, stocked with cookies, juices, water, coffee, and tea—a thoughtful touch that added great value to our stay. Highlights: Impeccable cleanliness throughout the property Mimi’s outstanding customer service (a true asset to the team!) Prime location near key landmarks Free daily snacks and beverages (water, juices, coffee and tea) Highly recommended for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely return!

We loved our stay at Asa hotel, we were here for 2 weeks and I wish we could have stayed longer! Our room was on the 3rd floor and we had a beautiful view of the sunset and mountains. The hotel is very clean and housekeeping would always refill the water when we left. All of the common spaces were very well maintained. The location is very conveniently located just a 15-20 minute near the gate. There are also some great coffee shops and bakeries located close by. The real standout is the staff though, they are incredibly friendly, warm and hospitable and are very knowledgeable with what is going on in the city on the day. Whilst all the staff were amazing with great English, we mostly spoke to mimi who is an absolute sweetheart! She is truly an asset to the hotel and we will miss her! When we are next in Chiangmai we will definitely visit again!

The hotel is really value for money. For a small hotel, it has a decent size pool and the rooms are very spacious. The staff is super attentive and speaks good English, and will offer you ideas for sightseeing. The hotel also provides free drinking water, coffee, tea, and juices even if you are not buying breakfast from them. The location is just outside the old city perimeter, so you are able to walk to the old city if you want, but I will recommend a grab bike or car. Nearby is the Mae Kha Canal, which is busy with local food stalls and activities on Fridays and weekends. It is a very nice surprise and relatively unknown to tourists.
